It's the title essay from Steve's forthcoming book of criticism. Graywolf is publishing it this spring.
That is nice. Good overview of the late 20th century in American poetry. Referring to the influence of Nevermind is about as easy as Giuliani making references to 9/11, but I don't care. I do want to read more.
Has anyone read the essay where he coined the "elliptical poets?"
